Named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound made when playing a power chord on an electric guitar, Kerrang! was initially devoted to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and the rise of hard rock acts. In the early 2000s it became the best-selling British music newspaper.

My N.C.I.S

My N.C.I.S is on Waterloo road.

Narrative:
1. the story lines that the programme Waterloo road might have would be drug related plots, also sexual content to do with teenagers.
2. in my opinion what draws the audiences attention is the lust and drama that goes on in the school as well as its relation to things that might happen in some peoples everyday life.
3. some narratives that might be typical of other genres could be soaps e.g. eastenders, reality TV shows.

Characters:
1.the types of characters that you meet in teen dramas are usually; yobs, chavs, gangsters, junkies, mental teens and the strange absent minded.
2. I expect to meet a thoughtful teenage character because if there is not one in the plot of the story some story lines won't click, as in just will not go together.
3.the central characters are introduced straight away, into the story line by creating a problem in the characters life.
4. there are stereotypes such as the chavy girl teenager, straight away getting pregnant and not having the father to take care of the baby with her because of either a misunderstanding or a problem between her boyfriend.

Iconography:
1. I can see this is a teen drama because the setting is in a high school where their are teens that have certain issues in there life's that need dealing with, with the help of the teachers in the school.
2.the sound codes in Waterloo road are bad use of language (swearing), music in the background and loud voices.
3. the type of audience that the codes used is trying to appeal to is mostly teens and young adults.
4.other genres with iconography would be a medical drama e.g. house.
